Gerard Way‘s Netflix adaptation of The Umbrella Academy has reportedly been renewed for a second season!

If you’re like us, you’ve probably binge-watched the entire first season AT LEAST three times by now. The season ended far too quickly and left us wanting even more. Luckily, it looks like Netflix is more than willing to give us exactly what we want.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the show is based off a comic series by My Chemical Romance‘s Gerard Way. The Netflix adaptation contains ten episodes (so far) that aired earlier this month to RAVE reviews. In fact, it’s already been named one of the most successful digital releases of 2019 so far.

So, Ellen Page will play Vanya, the black sheep of her dysfunctional family of superheroes, known as the Umbrella Academy. The rest of the dysfunctional family include Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castañeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Vanya (Page), Klaus (Robert Sheehan) and Number Five (Aidan Gallagher). The story follows the family as they “work together to solve their father’s mysterious death while coming apart at the seams due to their divergent personalities and abilities.”

Now, according to the GWWThe Umbrella Academy has been renewed for season number two and will begin production later this year.

Production will take place in Toronto with Peter Hoar set to direct the first episode. Hoar directed the show’s pilot as well as episode ten of the first season.

While not much is known about what season two could hold, some have been speculating if we could see a trip back in time.

Or maybe Five will finally get an actual name, especially since MCR fans were hoping to rename the superhero after Frank Iero, MCR’s rhythm guitarist.

Oddly enough, the name suits the character. After all, the pair share a plethora of qualities including their height and cynicality.

Additionally, a few stragglers want Five to take on the name either “Istanbul” or “Constantinople,” after the They Might Be Giants song that plays during his iconic fight scene.

You can listen to the song below.

Earlier this month, Aidan Gallagher, the 15-year-old actor who plays Number Five in the series, posted a video of himself covering “Cancer” by MCR back in 2017.
