Is this what the new Motorola RAZR looks like?

Looks like we may be getting a peek at the first fruits of the tech-forward Motorola RAZR comeback movement. And recent filings showing some mobile device hardware has some outlets anticipating a folding phone screen on the device.

Take a look at the images right here. What you’re seeing is the World Intellectual Property Organization registration from Lenovo, Motorola’s parent company, for what appears to be a very RAZR-looking flip phone, as reported by The Verge.

Therefore, assumptions are being made that the illustrated device indeed represents the upcoming reissue of the RAZR, providing #20ninescene with a device that should perfectly compliment the most “rawr”-worthy scene hair looks.

Once upon a time—you know, about 10 years ago or so—the Motorola RAZR was the phone everyone wanted to have. And while flip phones now seem all but gone, the model is still incredibly popular. So, of course it’s making a comeback, right?

We’ve been through this before. In 2016, Motorola released a commercial teasing the potential return of the beloved phone. The advertisement even featured Boys Like Girls’ classic “The Great Escape,” which was turning 10 that year.

However, things really do seem to be happening this time, according to a recent report from The Wall Street Journal. Still, whether the Motorola RAZR 2019 model incorporates the new folding display technology is yet to be seen.

And according to reports, the new mobile device maybe out as soon as next month. So, are you planning on grabbing a new RAZR when they hit store shelves? Sound off in the comments section, down below, and let us know your take!
