Bret Michaels is starring in the new action film ‘The Music Man’
It looks like Bret Michaels is making his return to the film industry. After appearing in a few films over the years, the Poison vocalist is set to star in the new action film The Music Man.
This week, Michaels shared a behind-the-scenes video of him training for his upcoming role.

Outside of Poison, Michaels has appeared in various TV shows including the Masked Singer and The Celebrity Apprentice 3. His latest role credit in a film is 2017’s Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Now, it looks like Michaels is preparing to return to the film industry once again.
While key details regarding the project are still unknown, Michaels is set to star in the upcoming action-suspense film The Music Man.
On Monday, Michaels shared a video of him taking part in firearm training for the film. According to the video’s description, production for The Music Man will “begin when CDC guidelines allow, early to late as late fall.”
The Music Man is also set to debut exclusively on streaming services. At this time, no information on which services the film will be available on has been shared.
Michaels also revealed more information regarding the project on Instagram. On July 13, he shared a behind-the-scenes photo during training for the film.

Poison were set to hit the road with Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and Joan Jett And The Blackhearts this summer. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the tour has been rescheduled for 2021.
Earlier this year, Michaels returned to television for NBC‘s Masked Singer. The Poison singer made it relatively far into the competition as “The Banana” before being unmasked. Sharon Osbourne was the one judge to recognize his voice instantly.
