'The Nightmare Before Christmas' house brings Halloween Town to life

One family in Arizona is celebrating Halloween the right way with a totally decked-out The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired house.

The home is inspired by the Tim Burton film and mashes together hand-painted and homemade Christmas and Halloween decor.

The home, known as the Halloween Christmas House, is owned by Jessica and Francis Brown. They collaborate with their neighbors, Aerin and Eric Major,to create new artwork for their display every year. The Majors are set and prop designers. Both families are big Disney fans and were inspired by the film.

The characters are exact replicas from the iconic movie. In fact, they look like they could be straight from the set of the film itself.

The Browns go big for Halloween, and even passed out 400 pounds of candy last year at their festive home. They do not charge people to come check out their display, but ask patrons to donate an unwrapped toy or new bedding that will be given to the Sojourner Center.

More news

The Nightmare Before Christmas is, as usual, making its rounds in the news this spooky season with cereal, shoes, coffee and more taking inspiration from the iconic film.  It’s a staple perfect flick to watch during both Halloween or Christmas, but what if there was another film in the franchise?

With all the remakes in the works, is Disney remaking the cult classic? Some people sure seem to think so.

The rumors insinuate that either a live-action or a follow-up could be in the works.

According to Moviehole, a source that has given the site credible and reliable information in the past tipped them that Disney wants “to do something with Nightmare Before Christmas – probably a sequel but live-action possible.”

This information was available back in February. Now, sources close to another site We Got This Covered Now, who, are the same ones who told us an Aladdin sequel was in development before it was later confirmed – have informed the world that the project is still in the works and is definitely happening.

Recently, the voice of the Pumpkin King himself, Chris Sarandon, spoke out about how he would do anything to revive Jack Skellington.

“I’d crawl on my hands and knees, from the east coast to the west coast, in the spring or the fall, to do it again,” Sarandon shared with ComicBook.com when discussing a sequel. “Of course I would. I love that character and I love that I’m part of a legacy of that character as well.”

Sarandon is also known for some of our favorites The Princess Bride and Child’s Play

Tim Burton has been known to be against a sequel but with the power of Disney, he might not have much say in the matter.

Anyhow, if this is something in the works, we hope for some decent news soon.
