It looks like Waterparks are at it again, this time teasing something for “next Monday.” The announcement comes after the band released a teaser earlier this morning.

Only Waterparks would use an announcement to tease an announcement.

But what’s with the duck?

Earlier today, Waterparks took so social media to post an orange background with the words “SATURDAY 7PM.”

Fans immediately began speculating what would happen later this evening, with many hoping for a new track or music video.

However, it looks like that announcement merely leads to another announcement.

Now, the band have shared what looks like a potential screenshot of a video with the words, “WATCH WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.”

A date and time of “MONDAY 11AM PT 7PM UK” is then teased. The tweets is accompanied by a single duck emoji.

Fans had some very mixed reactions to the double announcement.

Fans were quick to pick up on the relevance of the duck emoji because as we know, this is Waterparks and nothing is accidental.

The emoji and shirt connection has now sparked some duck theories from fans.

Whitney is your definition of pop punk trash. If she's not jamming to State Champs or Grayscale, then she's probably out enjoying the finer things or working a show for Fearless Records as a Street Team Leader. She's a realist and an optimist, calling the city of Columbus her home. A huge fan of naps, Whitney often falls asleep in a city that doesn't. She's not hard to please, finding joy in discovering new bands or playing Everlong on the late night radio. Working at Alt Press and breaking ground in the music scene have always been a dream of hers, telling herself at an early age she was down for losing it all to make that happen! Now the weekend writer at AP, Whitney is prepared to be noticed and eager to contribute to the scene. If you catch her at a concert feel free to stick around, make small talk, or discuss her overuse of State Champs lyrics and song titles in her bio.
