Obi-Wan Kenobi takes place between the events of Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope on Tatooine. By this point in the timeline, Kenobi's former student, Anakin Skywalker, has fully embraced the dark side as Darth Vader, and the empire is hunting down any remaining Jedi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will focus on the Jedi's efforts to evade bounty hunters while keeping a watchful eye on the young Luke Skywalker.

Reportedly, Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers will make a cameo appearance on the series. Furthermore, John Williams is returning to write the series' theme song.
