Poppy & PVRIS announce exciting co-headlining tour, with Pom Pom Squad, Tommy Genesis as support
It’s a big week for Poppy. Yesterday, the heavy singer dropped her latest single, “Church Outfit,” and today she’s announced that she’s going on tour.
The tour is pretty major, too. Poppy is heading out on a co-headlining tour with pop-rock favorites PVRIS on the Godless/Goddess Tour. The two are bringing along some exciting support, as well, including rising indie-rock band Pom Pom Squad and alt-pop singer/rapper Tommy Genesis, who just appeared on Lana Del Rey’s Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard.
The Godless/Goddess Tour comes as PVRIS is in the midst of dropping new music, too. Just last week the band fronted by Lynn Gunn shared the single “Good Enemy” and details about their new album EVERGREEN (due out July 14). It seems imminent that Poppy will announce even more new music soon, too, that you’ll be able to catch out on the road.
The string of North American dates kicks off in mid-August in Seattle and heads throughout the west coast, Midwest, and east coast until mid-September, with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, and more cities. The pre-sale kicks off this Thursday, April 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
