It’s definitely been a busy year for Black Veil Brides. Along with celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album with the re-record Re-Stitch These Wounds, Black Veil Brides are working on their new album.
BVB have shared various details about their upcoming release over the past few months. At the start of August, Jeremy “Jinxx” Ferguson revealed that Black Veil Brides had over half a dozen songs written for their next album. As well, they are revisiting the idea of creating a concept album like 2013’s Wretched and Divine.
“I can’t talk too about what we envision for the next album, but we are revisiting the idea of another concept record like we did with Wretched And Divine,” he said. “It would be fun to do another concept CD, but we’ll see how things pan out.”
Andy Biersack further confirmed that BVB are making another concept album and that Jake Pitts is producing the whole release. As well, this upcoming LP will deal with more than just music. BVB are exploring other creative outlets to truly bring their new music to life.

“There’s art, drawings, comic book designs, we wanna do a movie and all this shit, it’s a big expansive thing and we’re really excited about it,” Biersack said.
Pitts also revealed that this new batch of songs are some of the best that Black Veil Brides have ever created.
“I can’t wait for everybody to hear the new stuff,” Pitts shared. “I think as songwriters we’ve all got so much better and I think some of the new stuff we’re doing is some of the best stuff we’ve ever written.”
Now, it looks like BVB are possibly teasing their next era and upcoming album. This week, the band began sharing some cryptic clues that fans think mean new music is on the way.

Fans have already begun to theorize what these clues could mean. One clever fan noticed that the crow clue could be in reference to the 1994 film The Crow. According to fans, The Crow is one of Biersack’s favorite films.
The Crow is about a musician named Eric Draven and his fiancee who are brutally murdered by members of an inner-city gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric returns as the supernatural avenger the Crow and tracks down the individuals that murdered them.
I’m probably the only one that’s trying to debunk the whole thing with @blackveilbrides posting this whole image that looks like the scene from The Crow when Eric lights that crow up on fire….?

Another fan noted that the mask clue could be in reference to The Phantom Of The Opera, another one of Biersack’s favorite stories. This theory also relates back to the #JoinThePhantomTomorrow hashtag that is being used.
well we know Andy likes The Crow and he is a fan of Phantom of the Opera so a mixture of the two for the new era storyline? hahaha.. i jest. i guess we’ll see!

Since Black Veil Brides are working on another concept LP, could these clues hint at what the album’s story is about? For now, we will just have to wait and see what other clues BVB drop over the next few days.
In the meantime, fans are excited about this possible next Black Veil Brides era.
