If you’ve been out of the loop, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has been keeping us entertained on Mondays with his special No Fun Mondays covers. He’s also appeared on a few livestreams because he’s just too good not to.

On April 28, Armstrong and his two sons, Jakob Danger (Ultra Q) and Joey Armstrong (SWMRS) even appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden and performed one of those covers—Tommy James And The Shondells’ “I Think We’re Alone Now.”

Well, it seems Armstrong couldn’t wait until next Monday to drop a new cover because the legendary singer started No Fun Hump Days. The next item on Armstrong’s list was the Italian song “Amico” and he does a superb job.

Welcome to No fun hump dayThis song was originally by Don Backy. It’s called “Amico” with a power pop twist. Enjoy. Ps.. Please excuse my Italian

More Billie Joe Armstrong

Armstrong recently appeared on James Corden’s late night show. Between him and his two sons, they absolutely nailed the 1967 hit “I Think We’re Alone Now.”

Back in March, Billie Joe Armstrong posted a simple cover of the classic tune he recorded in his bedroom. But, the cover was meant for a bit bigger stage. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, we mean the living room.

Armstrong chatted with James Corden about life in quarantine, even mentioning that he thinks he would be a really great B-movie actor and is “dead serious” about acting in soap operas. Something which Corden said he was more than happy to help with.
