For years now, The Simpsons fans have noticed some eerie similarities between the events that happen on the show and what goes on in the real world.

Now, it looks like some viewers are convinced the animated show predicted a major detail about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' inauguration ceremony over two decades ago.

Shortly after the Pro-Trump supporters breached the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, The Simpsons fans pointed out that the show seemingly predicted the events that transpired in an episode released last year. However, this wasn't the first time the animated series mirrored something that happened in real life.

For example, almost two decades ago, the animated show predicted that Donald Trump would eventually become the President. The series also seemingly predicted the Ebola outbreak long before it even happened.

Then, earlier this week, The Simpsons viewers noticed an eerie similarity between a 21-year-old episode and Kamala Harris' inauguration. Back in 2000, an episode aired where Lisa Simpson becomes President of the United States. In the episode, Lisa is wearing a purple pantsuit and pearl jewelry.

Following Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, the internet quickly noticed that Harris wore basically the exact same outfit as Lisa Simpson, right down to the jewelry.

However, this wasn't the only similarity fans noticed in the episode. The "Bart To The Future" episode also shows President Simpson inheriting a budget crisis from the former president who happens to be Donald Trump.
