It’s time for every Bring Me The Horizon fan to “repent, repent” because Suicide Season turns 12 years old today. The iconic album sleeve remains a staple on record shelves with the cover model literally spilling her guts.
Aside from this, BMTH’s hit single “Chelsea Smile” remains locked into many of our Spotify playlists all these years later. Count your blessings and see if you can remember all the lyrics to this emo classic more than a decade after its release.
More on Bring Me The Horizon
Earlier this month, Bring Me The Horizon and YUNGBLUD released their highly awaited collaboration “Obey.” Soon after, they offered a behind-the-scenes look into how the iconic “Obey” video was created.
YUNGBLUD first teased the collaboration back in July when he sent a cryptic tweet to Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish. Shortly after, BMTH confirmed that the collaboration was happening and is part of their forthcoming release, Post Human.
Then, after sharing various behind-the-scenes photos, Bring Me The Horizon and YUNGBLUD finally unveiled “Obey” Sept. 2. A few weeks later, BMTH shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the music video shoot and revealed how “Obey” was created with the help of a green screen.
For the video, both YUNGBLUD and Sykes had their faces molded in order to create the robots’ faces. However, there almost weren’t any robots to begin with. Sykes shares he originally wanted the video to show both him and YUNGBLUD as puppets. Eventually, he realized the visual representation of the song might be too obvious, and he changed his mind.
