Cardi B knows her own worth, “okurrr?”

The Bronx-born rapper has reportedly filed paperwork to protect one of the biggest things to ever happen to her brand: her instantly recognizable, trilling “Okurrr!” catchphrase.

The Blast reports that Cardi has filed paperwork to trademark the saying for a variety of merchandising purposes. Yes, we could soon be seeing it adorning T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, you name it. Both versions of the word you could conceivably say, including “okurr” and “okurrr” (note the extra R in the second version) were included in the paperwork.

Not up to date on all the Cardi B lexicon? Cardi’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon should clear things up tremendously. Taking to the talk show, she explained what several of the phrases she uses on a regular basis actually mean, including the one she’s trademarking.

“You know, it’s like a cold pigeon in New York City… Okurrr,” says Cardi, mimicking the phrase on the show. “It depends on the situation that you’re in. If somebody checks somebody, it’s like…okurrr! I didn’t know she had all of that in her, okurrr! It’s like ‘okaaay,’ but okay is played out. We’ve done that already!”

She also tends to favor the usage of “eeeooowwww,” which does sound something like an angry cat yowl, but it’s used in a positive manner.

Cardi hasn’t officially announced what she has planned for her new trademark application, but if she has some awesome merch coming out soon, sign us up!

It’s good to be Cardi B. She’s set to appear in the upcoming stripper-centric flick Hustlers, and she’s riding high off her first Grammy win back in February. It’s good to be the newly-crowned queen of rap, it appears. Bow down to Cardi, okurrr?
