Does Halsey have a collab with MGK and Travis Barker on the way?
According to Halsey‘s BMI page, we may be getting a new collab with her, Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly in the future. Fans quickly saw that a new song called “Forget Me Too” has been registered on the singer’s official BMI page. Both MGK and Barker are credited as songwriters on the registration.
Following this discovery by fans, Barker seemingly confirmed the collaboration on social media this week.

Both Barker and MGK have spent the past year collaborating closely together. Their song with YUNGBLUD “I Think I’m OKAY” was one of the most popular songs in the last year. As well, Barker produced MGK’s forthcoming album Tickets To My Downfall that is out this summer. The two of them also performed MGK’s latest single “Bloody Valentine” on The Late Late Show With James Corden and have released various covers of songs from bands including Paramore and Rage Against The Machine.
As well, Halsey has previously collaborated with Barker on the single “11 Minutes” which also features YUNGBLUD. Essentially, all three artists run in a very close musical circle and have collaborated with one another at some capacity in the past.
This week, Twitter user @HopelessMinutes shared the discovery found on Halsey’s BMI page. According to BMI, a new song called “Forget Me Too” has been registered under Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane. As well, Barker and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, are also registered as songwriters on the track.

In order to directly see the song’s registration on BMI, you must search “Forget Me Too” on the website’s search bar.
Now, none of the artists have directly confirmed this collaboration is happening. However, Barker seemingly addressed the rumored collab on Twitter this week. The blink-182 drummer liked @HopelessMinutes’ post about the BMI registration on June 29.

For now, we will have to see if this rumored collaboration will actually happen. In the meantime, Halsey recently announced she is releasing her first poetry collection. She is also continuing to support black creators through her The Black Creators Funding Initiative. As well, she recently teamed up with Marshmello on their emotional new collab “Be Kind.”
As for Machine Gun Kelly, he is gearing up for the release of his new album Tickets To My Downfall. He also recently shared an acoustic performance of his latest single “Bloody Valentine.”
Along with MGK, Barker has been working on various projects recently with artists including Demi Lovato. According to Mark Hoppus, blink-182 are currently working on their follow up to 2019’s NINE.
