Bring Me The Horizon are still holed up together waiting out this coronavirus pandemic. And they’re still giving us plenty of video updates along the way. The most recent being Oli Sykes and Jordan Fish cooking up some filthy, guttural vocals combined with brashly morose lyrics.
In mid-March, Bring Me The Horizon announced they were working on new material tagged for a release tentatively titled BMTH8.
The new release will be the first new material from them since dropping their Music To Listen To… EP back in December.
Initially, they revealed the new project with an Instagram post followed by one from Sykes himself. Filmmaker Brian Cox also made a post discussing their plans as he is documenting their process.

✨hey world hope everyone is coping with the quarantine o.k, shit is upside down right now.. we were working on BMTH8 in the studio and obviously we had to abandon everything. We’ve been isolating since & are all well.. so here’s our plan. @jordanfish86 and our videographer @brian_c0x are travelling down to Sheffield to isolate with me, we are going to continue to write at home & even record some songs, we have everything we need to create the new record. & we want to involve you in the whole process- so from tonight, we will be sending constant updates of our progress, doing live chats and streams with you guys.. hopefully to bring a bit of joy & light to you guys in these dark times. Stay tuned, stay safe wash your hands & try & beat my face mask by @fabulousbeasts_ ✨ #isolationinnovation

They’ve been consistently providing short clips of them working from a home studio since the initial announcement.
Most recently, Bring Me The Horizon broke out the guttural screams for the new update.
The new clip shows Sykes messing around with some screams and sitting on the floor while Fish dabbles away at the computer. All of it is filmed by Brian Cox, who even adds a bit of creative lyrics to fuel the fire.
We see Sykes and Co. record some new, high-powered vocals, tell us that “The guttural is back. 2020 is the year of the guttural” and kiss a cute dog. Overall, they lay down some tight vocals and come up with the lyrics “Pass the flask ’cause I’m bathing in blood” which is metal as hell.
Check it out below.
