It’s been a year-and-a-half since American Satan announced its TV series spinoff. Now, we finally have some good news. The cast and crew took to Instagram today to announce that Paradise City is hitting television in 2020. We even get a fresh look at the Relentless.

They also shared that the first season is eight episodes long. The episodes have an average runtime of 40 minutes each. There will also be a full cast announcement in January. Get all the details below.

Produced and directed by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen, the American Satan film debuted Oct. 13, 2017. It starred Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack and Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce among others. The duo were among the members of the Relentless with Biersack’s vocals coming from Palaye Royale frontman Remington Leith.

The American Satan spinoff was first announced in June 2018 with the original cast teasing their return in September of that year. Bruce confirmed he would be returning with Biersack and former pro-wrestler Natalie Eva Marie signed on as a new addition in November 2018.

Twilight actor Booboo Stewart also returned after the original film appearing alongside new addition Bella Thorne in a behind-the-scenes photo in May. The late Cameron Boyce will also appear in the series marking one of his final roles before passing in July.

It seems Thorne might be taking over the role of Lily Mayflower in the Relentless. In American Satan, Mayflower was portrayed by Jesse Sullivan. In fact, IMDb even has Thorne credited as Lily.

The show is set to have a rock-steady cast of talent as we also got the news over the summer that Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn joined the cast. Then, just earlier this month, we learned that Juliet Simms will also play a role in Paradise City.

Both the official Paradise City Instagram page and that of Avildsen shared news of the update.
