See KennyHoopla and Travis Barker channel the MTV era in “ESTELLA//”
As promised, KennyHoopla and Travis Barker are back with an entertaining new video for their collab “ESTELLA//” that’s truly reminiscent of our favorite videos from the early days of MTV.
The duo first unveiled the early 2000s punk-inspired track last week.

Over the past few months, both KennyHoopla and Travis Barker have been involved in various collaborations of their own. Barker is currently in the studio working with both Jdxn and Machine Gun Kelly on even more new music after the success of Tickets To My Downfall.
As well, KennyHoopla has gifted listeners plenty of new songs and collaborations this year. Last month, he teamed up with nothing, nowhere. and JUDGE for the action-packed video for “blood.” As well, he recently joined forces with The Neighbourhood‘s Jesse Rutherford and grandson for two renditions of “lost cause//.”
Then, last month, KennyHoopla teased that an upcoming project with Barker was in the works.

Finally, the duo unveiled their new collaboration “ESTELLA//” last week. The nostalgic punk rock track is a true throwback to the early 2000s bands we grew up loving. The new song features hard-hitting percussion and rock-infused vocals, making it the ultimate nostalgic nod to the punk rock genre.
Barker, who is a big fan of KennyHoopla, first reached out to him over Instagram. From there, the duo began writing together and soon created “ESTELLA//” in Los Angeles.
“I loved Kenny’s music from the moment I heard it and showed everyone it,” Barker says. “We connected and kept talking about working together. ‘Bout a month ago we got in the studio for a few hours and it was magic. That’s when we wrote ‘ESTELLA//,’ rest is history.”
For KennyHoopla, he believes that his collaboration with Barker was a true example of perfect timing.

Now, the duo have teamed up for an entertaining new video for the collab. In the “ESTELLA//” video, KennyHoopla is dealing with the tumultuous end of a relationship when Barker comes to the rescue in a getaway car.
Together, the duo ride around town in Barker’s car letting out their feelings while KennyHoopla’s ex begins envisioning him everywhere. The video ends with a chaotic performance of “ESTELLA//” that’s reminiscent of the early days of MTV.
