Back in 2018, fans heard the news that the American Satan spin-off series Paradise City was in the works. After receiving the first teaser for the series on May 1, 2020, fans have been anxiously awaiting to hear when the series will air.

Now, an update regarding the show's release date has been shared. As well, the official Paradise City trailer is also on its way.

Since Paradise City's announcement, various details regarding the show have been released. Back in May, the first look into Randy Blythe's band in Paradise City was revealed. As well, Black Veil Brides' Andy Biersack, Asking Alexandria's Ben Bruce and James Cassells, Bella Thorne, BooBoo Stewart and late actor Cameron Boyce are all starring in the spin-off.

Despite the information that has been shared over the past year, an official release date for Paradise City is still unknown. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many television shows and movies have faced delayed releases and production shutdowns. All of this could be part of the reason why a Paradise City release date hasn't been shared.

Now, the series is giving fans an update on an official release date as well as when the debut trailer will arrive.

On June 18, the official Paradise City Instagram account released a post giving an update to fans.

"When you look for a Paradise City update and see we haven’t announced a release date and network yet," the post reads. "Don’t worry fam, we’ll be able to post official trailer and home soon."

So it appears that the release date announcement for Paradise City will be shared very soon. Along with the date, the network the series is airing on will also be shared.

In terms of the first season's plot, there is still a lot to be known. It is confirmed that Biersack, Bruce and Stewart are reprising their American Satan roles. As well, Lily Mayweather is now being played by Thorne. Sleeping With Sirens' Kellin Quinn and Juliet Simms are also expected to appear in the first season.

Bruce and Biersack recently talked about reprising their American Satan roles in an interview with Alternative Press.

The Paradise City teaser is available to watch below. Since its release on May 1, it has been viewed over 13 million times.
