More on twenty one pilots

Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun recently hit up The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to give their latest single “Level Of Concern” its live debut. The duo appeared on the show with a few of their friends from their homes to play the follow-up to Trench for the first time.

While shows might be on hold amid the pandemic, Simon Jefferis, Jesse Blum of MisterWives and Paul Meany of Mutemath came together to join twenty one pilots for the home-based set.

Jeffris, Blum and Meany weren’t the only ones to join the band, as everyone’s favorite creature Ned made his TV debut. The Clique first met Ned in early 2019 as he appeared in the video for “Chlorine.”

The performance also hit streaming services as “Level Of Concern (live from outside)” shortly after, and you can listen here. Check out Ned rocking the bass with twenty one pilots and their friends here.

Following the live debut, the band teamed up with  Pinot W. Ichwandardi and his family to create a retro lyric video. In it, all of the animations were brought to life by using Macintosh SE and Macintosh SE/30 Computers. There were even some era-spanning Easter eggs to spot, which you can try to track down in the video here.
