Westboro Baptist Church to picket Fall Out Boy concert
Protest-inciting hate group Westboro Baptist Church plan to picket an upcoming Fall Out Boy concert. The church’s website lists the band’s Sept. 21 show in Kansas City, Missouri among several artists’ gigs on a picketing schedule.

The concert’s set to take place later this month at the Sprint Center as part of FOB’s ongoing M A N I A Tour. Machine Gun Kelly is tabbed for support. (nothing,nowhere. were also initially slated to appear before canceling their tour.)
The Westboro Baptist Church, which the Southern Poverty Law Center calls “arguably the most obnoxious and rabid hate group in America,” tried their vilified picketing play at Warped Tour last year. The protests there were met with massive resistance from the family of Warped bands, crew and concertgoers.
Even Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters have had to deal with Westboro Baptist’s toxic protests in the past. But the band rickrolled the church when they showed up to picket a 2015 Foos concert. See FOB’s upcoming tour dates, below.
