Slipknot detail 'All Hope Is Gone' 10th anniversary reissue
After dropping their first new song in four years, Slipknot have finally revealed the details behind their upcoming 10th Anniversary Edition reissue of All Hope Is Gone, the linchpin fourth studio album from the masked Iowa metalheads released back in 2008. The reissue was first revealed by the band earlier this year, and it looks like the Dec. 7 release date will make Slipknot fans quite happy this holiday season. Along with the entire original album, a bonus disc contains the band’s Madison Square Garden performance from February 2009. And preorders for limited edition vinyl bundles are live right now.
The reissue announcement follows a period of renewed activity for the veteran act, a Slipknot-themed haunted house last month making way for vocalist Corey Taylor‘s latest remarks about America. Meanwhile, British pop-punkers Neck Deep paid tribute to the band for Halloween, and Taylor approved of the spirited Slipknot salute.
