My Chemical Romance reunion show tease sends fans into a frenzy

We’re a mere 16 days ahead of My Chemical Romance making their big return to the stage in Los Angeles. As if you needed another reminder, the band has taken to social media to refresh our memories.

With posts few and far between, anything shared from the band account has sent fans into a frenzy and today’s is no different.

The official My Chemical Romance account shared a black-and-white image of a hallway adorned with chandeliers and open doors. The image is exactly what you expect, adding a filter to the Shrine Expo Hall. You can see a nearly identical photo here.

With the image was the phrase “Sedecim Diebus…” which translates directly to “sixteen days” in latin,

Fans responded to the image with excitement and begging for a U.S. tour. Others started joking and theorizing what it meant past the literal interpretation as other imagery theories have emerged. Check out some of them below.

After the creation of an official My Chemical Romance Instagram and a series of cryptic teasers, MCR announced their long-awaited return.

After the initial show announcement, which sold out almost instantly, they announced a few 2020 appearances, with rumors continuing to circle of a forthcoming tour.

This latest post of the venue comes shortly after our first of the band together following reunion news. On Nov. 17, the foursome sat in a circle for a photo-op from rehearsal that apparently took place the prior Friday. There was no additional information available in the caption, but we appreciated a fresh photo. You can see their new post below.

My Chemical Romance also recently revealed that Thursday will be opening their comeback show on December 20. Thursday will also be playing a handful of gigs up to the MCR show with Saves The Day vocalist Chris Conley. The band also confirmed that former MCR drummer Jarrod Alexander will be joining them at that show. Whether or not he’ll be appearing at their 2020 dates as well is still unclear.
